SASCO Construction is looking to hire a Construction Contract Administrator to work on a fast-track project for our client, Musanada, in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Protects contractor company and thereby company from contractual risk by working in a process of continuous improvement to encourage/promote the introduction and implementation of best practice contracting methodology and practices as per FIDIC.
- Monitor contracts and solve contract-related problems with other parties and cooperate with the client as per FIDIC.
- Monitors the progress of work in both subsections as per FIDIC.
- Special attention to the work executed on site by the Senior Subcontracts manager (Site) as per FIDIC.
- Special attention for claims, and variations towards company and contractor.
- Special attention to audits by the company as well as internal audit results.
- Be present and report in Monthly meetings with companies on progress, in risk areas (e.g. late delivery/claims).
- Utilizes effective communication skills to ensure information is distributed in a timely and clear manner. Analysis and negotiation of claims.
- Maintain records for correspondence and documentation relative to contracts, deal with clients, PMC, Consultant, and Subcontractors, and ability create professional correspondence as required.
- Evaluate and execute a wide variety of different contracts.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or QS.
- 12+ Years of relevant work experience in the UAE.
- Preferred 3 years of experience with Musanada.
- Several years of experience with FIDIC.
- Excellent in writing variation letters and negotiating with clients.
- Strong organizational, project management skills, and communication skills.
- Fluent in English writing and speaking.
- Based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
