Our Construction & Real Estate client is looking for a highly motivated, innovative business development professional to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of building relationships in construction/real estate with a proven track record.
The Business Development Officer is responsible for developing new business opportunities and managing relationships with clients, consultants, project managers, and stakeholders.
- Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop relationships with industry professionals to generate new business opportunities.
- Create and expand the company's footprint and build positive top-of-mind awareness.
- Attend industry events and other meetings to stay abreast of market conditions and competition and establish relationships with existing clients and prospects.
- Provide ongoing progress updates on new business development activities and key indicators to the Senior management team.
- Coordinate and assist in the proposal process with the company's marketing and project management teams.
- Develop and implement strategies for new services.
- Determine new opportunities by analyzing business needs.
- Assists in the development of annual sales goals.
- Develop and deliver business plans through research, formulating market, and providing accurate business reports.
- Build referral and lead generation network.
- Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of Business Development/Sales experience, preferably with relevant experience in the construction/real estate industries.
- Strong client relationship management skills.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Have a desire to make a significant contribution to a rapidly growing organization.
- Market research experience.
- You have a proven ability to work independently.
- A proactive self-starter who can operate individually and as part of a team.
