- Job Description:

Our Construction & Real Estate client is looking for a highly motivated, innovative business development professional to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of building relationships in construction/real estate with a proven track record.

The Business Development Officer is responsible for developing new business opportunities and managing relationships with clients, consultants, project managers, and stakeholders.

- Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop relationships with industry professionals to generate new business opportunities.
  • Create and expand the company's footprint and build positive top-of-mind awareness.
  • Attend industry events and other meetings to stay abreast of market conditions and competition and establish relationships with existing clients and prospects.
  • Provide ongoing progress updates on new business development activities and key indicators to the Senior management team.
  • Coordinate and assist in the proposal process with the company's marketing and project management teams.
  • Develop and implement strategies for new services.
  • Determine new opportunities by analyzing business needs.
  • Assists in the development of annual sales goals.
  • Develop and deliver business plans through research, formulating market, and providing accurate business reports.
  • Build referral and lead generation network.

- Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of Business Development/Sales experience, preferably with relevant experience in the construction/real estate industries.
  • Strong client relationship management skills.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Have a desire to make a significant contribution to a rapidly growing organization.
  • Market research experience.
  • You have a proven ability to work independently.
  • A proactive self-starter who can operate individually and as part of a team.
  • Superior presentation and excellent oral and written communication skills.
